horrorhamlets

Read the following story about Tower Hamlets and it's treatment of some people. http://observer.guardian.co.uk/cash/story/0,,2104601,00.html

The language from the spokesman from Tower Hamlets is a disgrace leaving aside the issue. http://www.thespoof.com/news/spoof.cfm?headline=s1i20679

In Tower Hamlets. http://www.vnunet.com/computing/analysis/2192058/support-strategy

I have no comment. http://www.24dash.com/communities/21624.htm

Leaving aside the rights and wrongs of the transfer (I am a housing association tenant). The ocuncil should respect the rights of the residents of Tower Hamlets rather then trying to find a loop hole. http://www.socialistworker.co.uk/art.php?id=11919

I wonder how much the council and it's associated agencies including the PCT waste on propaganda? Why doesn't Tower Hamlets Council do the things it says it is going to do in East and Life and the website? I can tell you the workers are in a large number of cases not very helpful and they usually come up with the same excause "we don't have resources". They can pay senior managers a lot for doing god knows what. The trade unions in Tower Hamlets expect support for their strike action. I would not support the dishonest members of Unison in Tower Hamlets. They even tried to get someone not connected with the council to refuse to go to work which is illegal under the law. Then again they are only council employees.

Tower Hamlets has won another award for excellant service just like the rest of the awards it's a fariy tale. The reality is that just like social services the service by this Tower Hamlets services is rubbish. http://www.prnewswire.co.uk/cgi/news/release?id=198508
