Democracy is alive and well in the social housing sector. The residents of Tower Hamlets Homes have no say on members of the board. It would have been better if there was an election contested by political parties . The Leaseholders Association also needs more democracy and more professionalism as the site is out of date . All residents associations should have direct elections to them contested by political parties . In short we need more democracy in social housing as well as associations which aim to look after leaseholders and tenants.

There are serious points about Rich Mix for Tower Hamlets but that clown Oli Rahman should not be making them. He is a disgrace to Tower Hamlets and should not be in office .

I gave my second pref for the Mayorship of Tower Hamlets to John Biggs and I feel a bit disappointed after reading this article. Tower Hamlets needs to see what Biggs said been carried out .
